2008 Masters Results |
|
The 2008 Masters concluded last Friday. The men's winner is Scott Mackenzie with 87 points and the women's is Joanna Shih with 73. It was a close run thing for the final two Hong Kong Team men's spots, coming down to the last match, and with a different draw things could have been different. Scott (captain), Michael So, Joanna, and Barbara Wong had their spots tied up already. Royden Lam and Stephen Tam took the final two spots over Chan Wah and Lindsay Miller, despite Lindsay winning the final event over Stephen. Congratulations to them, and do us proud in the 2008 Asia Pacific Cup (for a change!). Congratulations also to Barry Ho for being the only one to take out a 170, and also to Michael So (21) for pipping Chan Wah (20)in the 180 count. |

Bulldogs has set up 3 boards to play on in 3 separate areas of the bar, with lots of room to relax, play and practice. WIth very reasonable drink prices, a long happy hour and tasty food Bulldogs is a great venue to play in. Bulldogs also shows live sports on many big screen TV's dotted around the bar and plays lots of great music. Please help us and show your support for a great "darts" bar in the heart of Wanchai. Chinese Darters
are the winners of the 51st League Champions
VS the Best of the Rest team. The match
came down to the last doubles game and featured some impressive statistics.
Jim Chan (16 & 18), Henry Ho (13 & 19), and Joe Tan (15) all had fast single games, and Royden Lam/Eric Yung (13) and Jim Chan/Derek Wu (17) scored doubles fast games. Three players scored 180s. Full results here |

Gabriel Ho scored a high finish of 140

July 4 and July 6th 2008, at the Canberra Labor Club, Canberra, Australia. Events
include Doubles, Mens' and Ladies' Singles, Blind Draw Doubles, and a Bull ShootOut. Winner's
prize money ranges from ~HKD1,750 to ~HKD21,000. Also includes various cash
bonuses.
