| 二零零九週年聚餐於五月三十一日（星期日）晚上假座九龍城富豪東方酒店二樓於會員週年大會後舉行，敬希各位會員擁躍參與。
The first annual dinner will be held
after the AGM, on May 31st, 2nd Floor, Regal Oriental Hotel, Hong
Kong.

Carnival Bar 2009 Hong Kong
Masters |

| This
years Masters competition will take place in the Carnival Bar, Regal
Riverside Hotel, Shatin and is open for all HKDA members (note that
you can apply for membership at the competition).
It will play over several months,
starting from March 6th and ending October 23rd.
HKD14,000 in prize money is on offer as
well as nightly drink coupons from the Carnival Bar, so get on down
to wonderful, scenic Shatin and play darts.

Rest team beat the Premier League Winners, Kowloon Hot Pot 8-2. There were two fast
games (18 darts - Scott Mackenzie
and 19 darts - Royden Lam) and
three 180s (H.K. Lau x 2 and Royden Lam).

| The
19th edition of the Hong Kong Open was a great success, with China
providing most of the successes this year. Unfortunately, due to the
problems in Thailand, we were missing some of our usual, and more
colourful visitors, but the standard of darts on offer was still of
a very high quality, proven by both the mens and womens finals
finishing in record time.
The Henry Ho
Cup was won by Liu Cheng
On (China) and the Womens singles by Nam Wan (Hong Kong).
The Bulldog's
Doubles was won by Liu Cheng
On (China) and Shi Yong
Shen (China).
The team event was won by the Singapore Recreation Club
(Singapore).
Our thanks go out to all the competitors
and our sponsors: The

and Bulldog's
Bar and Grill.

Dartboards

| The
HKDA is pleased to offer a special deal on dartboard setups for both
league teams and bars who currently do not have a dartboard but are
wanting to offer darts to their customers.
For League teams (1 set only per
team):
$700 for a Unicorn T-Wall Clamp and board surround.
For bars (1 set per
bar):
$1000 for a T-Wall Clamp, board surround, and a dartboard. A HKDA officer
will also help supervise the board placement.

2008 Masters
Results |

| The
2008 Masters concluded last Friday.
The men's winner is Scott Mackenzie with 87 points and the
women's is Joanna Shih with
73.
It was a close run thing for the final
two Hong Kong Team men's spots, coming down to the last match, and
with a different draw things could have been different. Scott (captain), Michael So, Joanna, and Barbara Wong had their spots tied up
already. Royden Lam and Stephen Tam took the final two spots
over Chan Wah and Lindsay Miller, despite Lindsay winning the final event over
Stephen.
Congratulations to them, and do us proud
in the 2008 Asia Pacific Cup
(for a change!).
Congratulations also to Barry Ho for being the only one to take
out a 170, and also to Michael So
(21) for pipping Chan Wah (20)in
the 180 count. |
